1About these terms

These terms apply to every registration and ticket for the Bangladesh Islamic Finance Summit 2026 and the AAOIFI Capacity Building Week (together, “the Event”), including the Summit, the AAOIFI Capacity Building programme, the Takaful & Muzakarah Day and the Combo pass.

The Event is organised by ADL Group, together with IFA Consultancy and ADL Advisory (“the Organisers”, “we”, “us”), with the support of AAOIFI.

By completing a registration you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these terms, on your own behalf and on behalf of anyone you register.

2Registration

• You must give accurate and complete details, including your full name, organisation, designation, email address and mobile number. If you book for colleagues, you confirm you have their permission to share their details with us.
• Your registration is confirmed only when payment is received and your ticket email has been sent. A completed payment page alone is not a confirmation.
• We may verify any registration, ask for further information or proof of identity, and decline any registration at our discretion without giving a reason.
• Places are limited and are allocated in order of completed payment.

3Tickets and admission

• Each ticket has its own QR code and admits one named person, on the days shown on the ticket only.
• Please bring your QR code (on your phone or printed) and a valid photo ID (national ID card, passport or official staff ID). Your name must match the ticket.
• Tickets are personal and may not be resold, transferred or shared. A ticket that has been copied, altered, resold or obtained improperly may be cancelled without a refund.
• Name changes (sending a colleague in your place) may be possible on written request to [email protected] before 20 November 2026. They are subject to the same checks as a new registration.
• Admission is at the Organisers’ discretion. Arriving after the session has started, or after the venue closes access for security reasons, may mean you cannot enter.

4Prices, discounts and payment

• Prices are shown in Bangladeshi Taka (BDT) for buyers in Bangladesh and in US dollars (USD) for buyers elsewhere. The currency is set automatically from your location, and the amount you pay is the amount shown when you confirm your order.
• All tickets are final once purchased. They cannot be cancelled and are non-refundable, including if you are unable to attend, except where the Organisers cancel a ticket or the Event (see sections 5 and 7).
• Early-bird prices, group rates, bundle discounts and coupon codes apply only as described on the registration page, while they are available, and may be changed or withdrawn at any time for future bookings. Discounts cannot be exchanged for cash or applied to orders already paid.
• Coupon codes are issued for specific people or organisations. A code that is shared, published or used against its conditions may be cancelled, and the related tickets may be cancelled or charged at the full price.
• Payments are processed securely by SSLCommerz. We never see or store your card or mobile banking details. Your bank or payment provider may charge its own fees or exchange-rate costs, which are not set by us.
• If a price is clearly shown in error, we may cancel the affected tickets and refund the amount paid, or offer you the ticket at the correct price.

5Cancellation by the Organisers

The Event will be attended by senior dignitaries, government officials and other high-profile guests. To protect their safety and the security of the venue, the Organisers reserve the right to refuse, cancel or withdraw any registration or ticket at any time, before or during the Event, at their sole discretion. This includes, for example:

• on security, safety or protocol grounds, or on the advice or instruction of security agencies, the police, government authorities or the venue;
• where registration details are incomplete, inaccurate or cannot be verified;
• where capacity has to be reduced or a session is restricted to invited guests;
• where there is a breach of these terms.

6Security and conduct

• All attendees may be subject to security screening, identity checks and bag searches at the entrance and inside the venue. Please allow extra time on arrival.
• Some areas and sessions may be restricted to invited guests or officials. Please follow the directions of the Organisers, venue staff, security personnel and law-enforcement officers at all times.
• Items that may be refused include weapons, sharp objects, large bags, banners, drones and any item the security team considers unsafe.
• You must not approach, film or photograph dignitaries or official guests where this is not permitted, or disrupt any session.
• We expect respectful and professional behaviour. We may remove anyone who behaves in a way that is unsafe, disruptive, offensive or unlawful, without a refund, and may refuse admission to future events.

7Changes to the event

• The programme, speakers, timings, sessions and venue may change. Such changes do not entitle you to a refund, but we will always try to let you know in good time.
• If the whole Event is cancelled by the Organisers, we will refund the amount you paid for your tickets.
• If the Event is postponed or moved online, your ticket will remain valid for the new date or format.

8Photography and recording

The Event will be photographed, filmed and may be streamed. By attending, you agree that you may appear in images or recordings that the Organisers and their partners may use for reporting, publicity and educational purposes.

Recording sessions for commercial purposes, or publishing presentation materials without permission, is not allowed.

9Your personal information

• We use the details you give us to process your registration and payment, send your tickets, run admission and check-in, keep the Event secure and contact you about the Event.
• For security and protocol purposes, attendee details may be shared with the venue, security personnel and relevant government or law-enforcement authorities.
• Payment details are handled by SSLCommerz under its own privacy policy.
• We do not sell your personal information. We may send you information about future events from the Organisers; you can unsubscribe at any time.

10Liability

You attend the Event at your own risk and are responsible for your personal belongings. To the extent permitted by law, the Organisers and the venue are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of or damage to personal property, and the Organisers’ total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for your tickets. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Views expressed by speakers are their own and do not necessarily represent those of the Organisers. Sessions are for general education and do not constitute Shariah, legal, financial or professional advice.

11Events beyond our control

We are not responsible for any failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, extreme weather, epidemics, civil unrest, strikes, government orders, security threats or the failure of utilities or transport. In such cases we may postpone, change or cancel the Event, and section 7 applies.

12Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Dhaka, Bangladesh. We may update these terms from time to time; the version in force when you completed your booking applies to it.
